Lori Weisenfeld has been pursuing fields in art and creativity her whole life. Early in her career, she was a freelance fashion illustrator and did the artwork for several books. She then attended the New York School of Interior Design and started an interior design firm. She then learned goldsmithing at Jewelry Arts Institute in Manhattan and designed and created high-karat gold jewelry.

In 2017, Lori began studying oil painting, charcoal, life drawing, and portrait art. It was not until 2020 that she began working in pastels and found the passion of her life.

She is an exhibiting member of the Guild of Creative Arts, an elected member of the American Artists Professional League, and a member of several other art associations. She has been honored with many awards, including Best in Show at the Canterbury Show in Rumson, the AAPL Board of Directors Award at the 93rd Grand National Exhibition, and the Dianne Bernhard Silver Medal in Pastels at the Audubon Artists Exhibition. Lori holds a BFA from Pratt Institute and currently lives in Rumson, New Jersey with her husband Harry.
